Orange mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. There are some tiny, non-penetrating fissures. One cross-cut section is slightly wider than the other. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. The colour of the bark is orange.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

This orange mammoth bark is not stabilised and / or filled with epoxy. Please note that none of our mammoth ivory is artificially stabilised and / or restored unless explicitly stated.
