Caramel mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid without cracks. There is a tiny fissure on the narrower cross-cut section. Consistent thickness with reserves on both ends. One side of this piece was cut at an angle - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is caramel.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
