Brown mammoth bark

This is a top-quality piece of Siberian woolly mammoth bark (Mammuthus primigenius). The ivory is rock-solid despite some small, non-penetrating cracks on the wider and thinner cross-cut section. Reserves on both ends. This piece was cut at angles - please carefully look at the pictures for precise dimensions. The colour of the bark is brown.

Geological epoch: Pleistocene.

Age: Over 10,000 years.

Origin: Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
